Upon checking my e-mail this morning, I found an e-mail from Gucci announcing their Valentines Day gift ideas. Among these great ideas was the Gucci Joy Medium Boston Bag. This bag comes in many different prints, but I chose to show you the one with red hearts all over it just to get us all in the mood for Valentines Day.
The white Joy Medium Boston Bag with red hearts has red, double handles, zip-top closure, D ring detail, inside pocket, and measures 12.6"L x 6.y"W x 8.7"H. You can find this bag for sale at Gucci.com for $695.
Now, a Gucci bag for $695 really is a great deal, and if the red hearts don't fit your personal style, there are several different prints to choose from. I think I will be dropping a little bug in my hubby's ear for this one.
Gucci is bringing out their Spring 2009 line, and one that I really like is the Medium Jockey Tote. This very chic and classy bag comes in beige and ebony with the GG fabric and sand leather trim. It is coupled with goldtone hardware, double handles with rings, snap closure, and horsebit details. You will find the embossed Gucci script logo and adjustable side buckles and studs. The interior houses both zip and cell phone pockets. This beautiful bag measures in at 13.4"w x 15"H x 6"D. Neiman Marcus carries this bag with a price tag of $1,495.00, NMF09_V08HZ.
I really like the look of the Gucci Jockey Tote. To me, it carries class and sophistication all rolled into one great looking bag. It is a descent size and the horsebit details really ropes me in. I just wish it came with a zip-top closure. I carry so much stuff, that I'm always afraid stuff will fall out, even with a snap closure. (more...)
Today I wanted to write about a Gucci handbag, and I came across the Gucci "Irina" Medium Tote in Sand Python and brown leather trim. This beautiful bag features double handles, snap closure, heart-shaped gucci crest detail, studs, and inside zip and cell phone pockets. It measures 15.4"L x 4.7"W x 13"H. Available at Gucci 211959 ECU6T 9560 $3595.
Now, this isn't the point of this post. We can all see that this is a gorgeous bag and find this same information about it on the Gucci website, but here is what I found to be very interesting during my research of this handbag. I came across a website, 12hshop.com what was advertising this bag for $282 or $232 VP price. The ad had the same information that I listed above which is from the Gucci site, and says nothing about this bag being authentic or a replica. Now, in my opinion because of the price these bags are listed at, there is no way they are authentic, but it certainly isn't advertised as such. (more...)
