I am very dissapointed with Coach Products. For years I have used the same Coach Wallet, I have owned 3 of the exact same. The quality was unmatched. The leather was thick, the lining strong and well sewn, they just felt of fine quality. It was with good reason, they were known as the makers of superior leather products. This leads me to my latest experience.
I went to the Coach store to replace my aging wallet. What should I find but throngs of women wresteling over handbags made of plastic and cheap leather. I asked the associate where I might find the wallets and he pointed to a stand-up display you might find in a Walmart. I did find my replacement but lo and behold, I found a cheap imitation of the wallet I have used for 25+ years. I quickly asked the gentleman I maybe there were some confussion to which he replied, “no I think they’re all made in China now”. I showed him the difference between my old quality wallet and the new one. He agreed that the quality was not the same, but assured me there was still a warranty. If I wanted a warranty, I would have gone to Walmart. I explained that one did not buy the Coach for the warranty, but because you did not need the warranty, which is obviously no longer the case.
No longer the maker of fine, quality, high end, leather goods, Coach has caved in to the lure of marketing cheap accessories to the unknowing masses. Shame on you.

My husband bought me a wallet that matched one of the bags he gave me and it was great. Unfortunately, I am finding that the colour is coming off of the wallet and the bag. The wallet isn’t even 6 months in my possession and not used all of the time and the orange trim now looks cheap and well worn. I am finding this an issue with all of the coloured bags as well. Also the interior of the wallet looks plastic and not at all what I expected for the cost. I still love it but am disappointed in the wear.
