Gucci ‘Irina’ Medium Tote in Sand Python
Today I wanted to write about a Gucci handbag, and I came across the Gucci "Irina" Medium Tote in Sand Python and brown leather trim. This beautiful bag features double handles, snap closure, heart-shaped gucci crest detail, studs, and inside zip and cell phone pockets. It measures 15.4"L x 4.7"W x 13"H. Available at Gucci 211959 ECU6T 9560 $3595.
Now, this isn't the point of this post. We can all see that this is a gorgeous bag and find this same information about it on the Gucci website, but here is what I found to be very interesting during my research of this handbag. I came across a website, 12hshop.com what was advertising this bag for $282 or $232 VP price. The ad had the same information that I listed above which is from the Gucci site, and says nothing about this bag being authentic or a replica. Now, in my opinion because of the price these bags are listed at, there is no way they are authentic, but it certainly isn't advertised as such.
My advice to you is this. Be very careful. If you are looking to buy new, authentic designer handbags, the best place to purchase them is directly from the designer; so watch out for places that are selling designer bags at a hugely discounted price as they are most likely fakes. Now, you can purchase slightly used bags on eBay at discounted prices, but there again, watch out for bags that are "hugely" discounted and always research the sellers before making a purchase.
