Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile and Mink Tote - Marvelous or Mistake?

Would you say this handbag is marvelous or a mistake?  You tell me.  Designers take great pride in the creations that they bless us with, but once in a great while, I think they temporarily lose their minds.... only temporarily.

I can only imagine how stressful it must be to continually come up with new designes over and over again to keep us happy, and I'm sure that the same amount of thought and time went into designing this bag just any other; however, this bag just doesn't make sense to me at all.     (more...)

Gucci ‘Irina’ Medium Tote in Sand Python

Today I wanted to write about a Gucci handbag, and I came across the Gucci "Irina" Medium Tote in Sand Python and brown leather trim.  This beautiful bag features double handles, snap closure, heart-shaped gucci crest detail, studs, and inside zip and cell phone pockets.  It measures 15.4"L x 4.7"W x 13"H.  Available at Gucci 211959 ECU6T 9560 $3595.

Now, this isn't the point of this post.  We can all see that this is a gorgeous bag and find this same information about it on the Gucci website, but here is what I found to be very interesting during my research of this handbag.  I came across a website, 12hshop.com what was advertising this bag for $282 or $232 VP price.  The ad had the same information that I listed above which is from the Gucci site, and says nothing about this bag being authentic or a replica.  Now, in my opinion because of the price these bags are listed at, there is no way they are authentic, but it certainly isn't advertised as such.   (more...)

Kate Spade Prince Street Blakely Tote Review

Surprizingly, the Kate Spade Prince Street Blakely Tote really is a sharp-looking little bag.  It is versatile enough to take to work or lunch with the girls.  It is made of nylon and comes in neutral black or brown.  The one draw back for this bag is that fact that it is an open top bag.  I don't use open top bags for the simple fact that everything falls out of them.  I would have liked to see some kind of closure in it. If you can look past this, they are available for $375 at Kate Spade.    (more...)
